In order for the U.S Customs and Border Protection Title desk to facilitate the processing of vehicle titles, manufactory statement of origins (MSO) or certificate of origins, in the most efficient processing time, we need the following documents:
1) Completed Letter of Intent (LOI)
2) The Original Title, MSO or Certificate of Origin.
Each original title must be endorsed on the back if ownership of the vehicle has changed.
The owner of the vehicle or equipment must be the exporter on the Letter of Intent (LOI).
If a Manufacturer's Statement of Origin (MSO) or Certificate of Origin is endorsed on the back, the endorsement must indicate if it is a dealer and if the endorsement is an individual or private business and an original bill of sales, a dealer’s contract, or an invoice.
This must be submitted to prove ownership or any existing liens.
